Remember one of our original three rules...respect others' time. - Faculty meetings and the like are required. But for others, it's ok to ask if you are expected to attend. --- # What to do when you're there Once you're in a meeting, try to keep a few things in mind: 1. You may be asked to do something...bring a way to write things down 2. Speak up but only if relevant (the only thing worse than a meeting is a long meeting) 3. Speak respectfully and read the room 4. Listen and participate (stay off your phones, etc.)
